Neil Alden Armstrong was born on August 5th, 1930 in Wakoponta, Ohio. He was in the navy and after that he went to NASA.
He was in space for 8 days 14 hours and 12 minutes for the mission Gemini 8. There were many things Neil Armstrong had to
overcome like the lack of oxygen, food, and gravity. There was also the problem of leaving and returning the earth's atmosphere.Neil Armstrong was the first man to walk on the moon.
